Red River Gorge, Kentucky · 180 Private Acres

A cabin on 180 acres, where the trees do the talking.

Tanager Trails is our private corner of the Red River Gorge — 180 secluded acres of woodland, cliffs, and caves, for slow mornings, long hikes, and nights spent counting stars instead of emails.

The Cabin

Built for unwinding

Named for the scarlet and summer tanagers that flit through the canopy each spring, Tanager Trails sits on 180 private, secluded acres with nothing but birdsong and breeze for neighbors. The land is yours to explore: deep woodland, sandstone cliffs, caves, a spring, and a good-sized creek winding through it all.

The cabin itself is warm and uncomplicated — soft light, a good kitchen, and a porch made for doing absolutely nothing. Hike, wade the creek, poke around the caves, or just disappear for a few days. Come summer there are fireflies; come fall the whole ridge turns gold.
